Well kids…HERE IT IS!
Is this the mark if the beast all of the conspiracy theorists have been talking about? We all laughed until today. Just think, if you protest, speak out or piss off the wrong person you… won’t be able to get a job, buy food, or take any of YOUR money out of the bank. Just imagine. Jacqui Smith is just tickled pink to let the world know that we are now property. She also said that by 2010 there could be as many as 1 million ID cards made despite a deadlock in negotiations with employers and unions over plans for a roll-out of the ID cards to airport staff next year.
“This is a mark (of the beast) of our commitment to the ID scheme,” said Ms Smith, pledging that the distribution of such cards to include UK citizens from 2011 would bring enormous benefits in law and order terms, and help employers in identifying legitimate workers.
What!?! Is she freakin crazy?
Being that I live in Italy, the bastard child of the EU, I already have one of these for my medical card. Should I worry? I think it’s too late for me.
