The comment deadline for the cow and pig tax is Friday, Nov. 28, but EPA has said that the docket will remain open.

1990 Amendments to the Clean Air Act
The Clean Air Act, like other laws enacted by Congress, was incorporated into the United States Code. The House of Representatives maintains a current version of the U.S. Code, which includes amendments of the Clean Air Act enacted since 1990. To see the current provisions of the Clean Air Act, you should refer to Title 42, Chapter 85 of the U.S. Code. Section numbers are different; for example, section 101 in the Clean Air Act is equivalent to section 7401 in the U.S. Code.

The Kyoto Protocol
is an international agreement linked to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The major feature of the Kyoto Protocol is that it sets binding targets for 37 industrialized countries and the European community for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions .These amount to an average of five per cent against 1990 levels over the five-year period 2008-2012.
