I have been wanting to blog this for a long time. But finally, Izzy Smart from the UK posted a recent Vlog on her YouTube channel on this very subject and inspired me to get off my lazy ass and at least write something. As we all know, the UK is up to their noses with surveillance, terror databases, environmental nazis, and now, mercury filled light bulbs.
We now have them in Italy but with different packaging. So just for poo poo’s and ha ha’s, I actually did test one of the free give away bulbs because I was out of regular ones. What could it hurt, right? It was free. I put one of the "Eco bulbs" in my hallway. After a couple minutes, I start to smell something… like something burning! It was so bad it started making me sick and I actually had to remove it. So, I sat in the dark..and the bulb went back under the steps. Where it remains today… ’cause I don’t know where to throw it away.
The point is, agencies like the EPA are trying to regulate our lives …everyone’s lives throughout the world. It’s part of the globalization plan. Progress will decay tradition. Some say that globalization is the natural progression of a society… but the downside is you experience the loss of culture, tradition, and sometimes, good ole common sense. What’s good for some isn’t always good for all.
Here is another point I just don’t understand…
Cows, pig, and goats have been farting their little asses of for thousands of years. And now, modern regulation is making a big stink about it. AAAHHHHHh hehehehee!!!!… I’m sorry, farts are funny. Pull my finger! HA!
Anyway, the EPA and the creators/drafter/signers of The Kyoto Protocol and The Clean Air Act are now trying to destroy the farmer. The little guy. They want to tax farmers into oblivion …because of FARTS!
BUT OOOooohhhhhh…it’s ok to create and force me to use a burning toxic mercury filled glowing stinky time bomb of doom to hang from my ceiling! F!
Call me health conscious, but I’d rather deal with the smell a cow fart for five minutes than poison myself for the rest of my life. (Yes, i know it’s not the smell that is the problem. It’s the supposed greenhouse effect that all these farts is creating so please spare me the eco-lesson email).
Ask yourself, how many of these bulbs are currently contaminating landfills all over the world because people don’t want anything to do with it!?
In conclusion…
Toxic Mercury Filled time bombs…GOOD!
Cow Farts…BAD!
